Now you can use the Microsoft office free on your Smartphone and tablet. This new Office for iOS suite includes Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 

Here are Microsoft Office quick features you will like to use: 

  • Creating and editing is now free on Android and iOS 
  • Standalone Word, Excel, and PowerPoint apps are available for iPhone, to match the iPad. 
  • Standalone Word, Excel, and PowerPoint apps are coming to Android tablets, and then later to Android phones. 

Before this, getting access to those capabilities required an Office 365 subscription, which starts at $6.99 a month. 

Amanda Lefebvre, an Office product manager, said “We want more people to use our applications; Usage is a primary goal for us. We want to give them more reasons to use our product” in an interview.
